Security Site Supervisor

About the role

This position will be acting as a facility security officer at night while TBAKI management is not on site. This person will work 50 hours weekly and have 10 hours paid overtime weekly.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s)
• Affirms that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed
• Notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations
• Counsels and disciplines personnel as appropriate
• Trains Security Officers and other company personnel
• Affirms adequate coverage of all posts and positions
• Presents, files, and submits various reports as required
• Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities
• Makes contact with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy

Requirements

• 3-5 years security supervision experience
• Strong knowledge of security operations, preferably in a manufacturing setting
• Able to perform basic security patrols of the facility
• Able to respond to calls for security assistance such as walking out an irate suspended/terminated employee and keep the situation calm
• Able to assist in emergency management ensuring responding emergency teams are escorted to the area they are needed within the facility
• Proficient with technology and writing incident reports is required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company
• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred

• Knowledge of security operations with an emphasis on patrol, inspection and response services
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
