Security Site Supervisor Full Time
About the role
The Security Site Supervisor oversees the security function on-site, ensuring all aspects are performed diligently. This includes staffing, scheduling, and on-site training of Allied Universal personnel assigned to the site. They also ensure contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel are met, maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement, and regularly inspect security personnel and their job performance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance
- Respond to client requests
- Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
- Provide direction and instruction to subordinates in regard to the performance of their duties
- Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision
- Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
- Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders
- Make recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 21 years of age
- A valid driver’s license
- Fluency in Spanish
- One or more years of security supervisor / manager experience or two years of security experience
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Access Control / Badge experience
- Alarm panel experience
- Comfortable with computer and similar technology
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public

Qualifications
Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing and pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle.
Skills
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs and walk and stand for long periods of time.
