Security Site Supervisor

Essential Functions

Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel at client sites; ensure all post orders are followed, rounds are completed, and reports are filed; notify authorities and clients in emergencies.

Coach and discipline personnel as necessary; seek advice from company management or designated representatives as needed; meet with employees to discuss tasks and responsibilities.

Train Security Officers and other company personnel; review post orders and assignments with subordinates.

Aid in payroll and personnel information submission to the company; ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions.

Prepare, file, and submit various reports as required; inspect posts as scheduled and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.

Meet with client representatives as needed to ensure security requirements are met and to provide quality customer service.

Perform supervisory duties as assigned, including interviewing, orienting, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and making hiring and termination recommendations.

May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accordance with post orders and company policy.

Education/Experience

High School Diploma or GED, plus 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred.

Competencies

Knowledge of security operations with an emphasis on patrol, inspection, and response services.

Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
