Security Site Supervisor

About the role

We're growing our team in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day security operations, ensuring the highest service standards while representing GardaWorld as the premier provider of security services. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining client relationships, and fostering a robust safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GardaWorld Security core values are integrated into all business practices.
• Supervise day-to-day security services at the facility to maintain the highest standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing staffing schedules, payroll, and reports.
• Maintain operational logs, records, and post orders accurately.
• Serve as the liaison between GardaWorld, clients, and assigned staff to build effective relationships.
• Assist in the selection, orientation, training, and development of staff.
• Maintain a goal of zero safety incidents while managing a robust safety program.
• Review security officer schedules and staffing levels to improve operations, reduce risk, and lower costs.
• Respond to operational emergencies with timely communication and accurate reporting.
• Direct, supervise, and support site officers.
• Recommend and distribute rewards, recognition, and corrective actions, including discipline up to formal warnings and participation in termination decisions.
• Supervise and manage employees at the assigned job site.
• Maintain a professional relationship with the client at the assigned site.
• Exercise independent judgment and sound decision-making in all duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age or older (as required by law or contractual obligations).
• Prior supervisory experience in security, military, law enforcement, corrections, or related fields (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• 10 years of construction management experience required.
• Military experience preferred.

Pay

Competitive hourly starting rate of $28.00.
