Security Shift Supervisors - Part Time

About the Role

Titan Security is hiring Part Time Shift Supervisors to work at two outdoor public venues in the Downtown Loop area of Chicago. We are looking for candidates who are available to work all shifts, including weekends, with hours from 1pm-9pm, 2pm-10pm, or 3pm-11pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Help supervise operations of an assigned client site on the assigned shift.
• Manage a team of security officers, including scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support.
• Ensure the client site is provided with high-quality security services to protect people and property.
• Handle all escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately.
• Develop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management.
• Assist in coordinating and/or conducting site-specific training and annual refresher training for staff.
• Reconcile logs, shift responsibilities, and patrols; review incident reports and coordinate preliminary investigations.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and post orders for emergency reference.
• Train and qualify to work assigned posts, understanding specific and general post instructions.
• Maintain access control procedures and effectively utilize security systems.
• Identify tenants and visitors, ensure proper sign-in procedures, and monitor departing personnel.
• Respond to incidents, conduct patrols, and provide excellent customer service.
• Record data, maintain logs, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 3 years of prior satisfactory employment as a security officer or related experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Security License (if required by state) and driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; bi-lingual is a plus.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift/push/pull at least 50 lbs, and perform duties in various weather conditions.

Skills

• Supervisory experience (minimum 1 year required).

• Proficiency in security systems and procedures.

Pay

$22.60 / hour
