Security Shift Supervisor - Unarmed
About the role
Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor for a Commercial Building located in Downtown, Manhattan. This position is full-time and works Thursday through Monday, with shifts from 11pm to 7am. The pay rate is $20.55 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer.
- Act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for security issues and concerns.
- Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline to staff within the approved empowerment range.
- Ensure compliance with Allied Universal's policies and procedures.
- Manage incident reporting and documentation.
- Coordinate with account managers and field operations to ensure service standards are met.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions within established guidelines.
- Read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
- Licenses and certifications as required by state and local laws.
- Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and appropriate insurance.
- Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.

- Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
- Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
