Security Shift Supervisor - Overnights

About the role

Secureone Security Services is seeking to hire a Shift Supervisor (SS). The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising the security operations of their assigned site, inspection of officers who work at the site, and training/operational support of the branch.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to direct the Shift/Account assigned Officers and assist with areas of responsibility as needed
• Provide Site Support for all areas of the sites and conduct inspections of assigned personnel
• Effectively manage, motivate, coach and formally evaluate the performance of all assigned staff and officers
• Assist with the development and implementation of measurement and evaluation tools for efficiency, accuracy, timeliness, and costs/benefits of each area of responsibility
• Make recommendations for the creation, modification, and updating of policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines as they relate to your assigned Site/Account
• Assist with the development and implementation of controls for accurate and timely patrol and alarm response activities
• Respond to incidents at the Site proactively and in response to requests for assistance from any Secureone Security Manager, Supervisor, Assigned Agent/Officer and Client; coordinate the proper response and internal notifications as appropriate
• Continually review all aspects of the Site/Account for potential improvement and profitability
• Ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization and client operations
• Communicate clearly and effectively with office management to resolve any potential issues, concerns or threats at assigned site/account
• Demonstrate excellent conceptual and critical thinking skills; present ideas in a clear and compelling manner with strict attention to detail
• Show emotional intelligence with excellent people skills and ability to develop and manage successful business relationships with clients and prospective clients
• Maintain strong personal presence, credibility and high integrity
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to attend supervisory/managerial scheduled meetings on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must possess a valid security license as required in the state for which you are applying
• Minimum 2–3 years of progressive security experience
• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
• As a condition of continued employment, employee must maintain current active status of all required licenses at all times and must carry the license at all times while on duty
• Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of security experience
• 2–3+ years of supervisory/managerial experience
