Security Shift Supervisor

About the role

The Security Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security team at client sites, ensuring all post orders are followed, conducting inspections, and maintaining communication with clients and management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers and other company personnel
• Train and coach employees
• Prepare and file reports as required
• Inspect posts and meet with subordinates
• Meet with client representatives
• Assist in payroll and personnel information submission
• Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions
• Carry out supervisory duties as per company policies and procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years of retail experience preferred

• Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance
• Understanding of security and safety devices and controls
• Ability to learn quickly and carry out instructions

• Keyboarding, basic computer usage, and operating controls
• Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking
• Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds
• Regular use of vehicle for the performance of duties
• Exposure to stressful situations and unusual circumstances

$21.75-23.00/hour
