Security Shift Supervisor

About the role

The Shift Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site. You will act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Schedule

Full Time Hours: 3 p.m. - 11 p.m., Monday - Friday

Pay

Starting rate: $22.52 per hour with paid orientation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security services on a specific shift.
• Act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and security officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline to staff within approved guidelines.
• Prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently at the client site.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Frequent preparation of written reports and logs.
• Ability to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements as per state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• For driving positions: valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test (may also require a driver’s record check).
