Security Shift Manager - Philadelphia

About the Role

The Security Shift Manager is responsible for the overall management of the shift and personnel, ensuring security and a safe environment while protecting guests, team members, and Live assets.

Responsibilities

• Manages programs, processes, and procedures to protect the assets of Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, including the safety and security of guests and team members.
• Implements programs and processes to reduce and control loss-time injuries.
• Communicates and implements department procedures in accordance with director and internal controls.
• Assists in the development and implementation of Security Department training.
• Investigates incidents and/or guest complaints, compiling data for accurate reports to the Gaming Commission and department heads.
• Completes and investigates first reports on injury.
• Provides input and assists with the preparation of performance reviews of supervisors and officers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in security or law enforcement.
• At least three (3) years of work experience in a casino environment.
• Four (4)-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Must comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.

• Casino is over 300,000 square feet and requires the ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.
• Ability to be alert at all times.
• Dexterity to perform day-to-day activities and during emergencies.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures (both hot and cold).
• Ability to run, stoop, bend, and reach outward and above the head.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to ride a bicycle.
• Ability to operate and ride a Segway, golf cart, or other vehicles.
