The selected candidate will primarily work in the downtown area.
What You Will Do
- Troubleshoot and service security systems to alleviate customer concerns.
- Advise customers and the customer care center on system status and process inspections.
- Repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV systems, card access systems, and other security equipment.
- Work independently from a remote location with provided tools and equipment.
- Provide high-level service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related issues.
- Act as a trusted advisor, delivering solutions and outcomes at the time of service.
How You Will Do It
- Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring.
- Readjust, repair, or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation.
- Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs.
- Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.
- Service and repair commercial security, fire alarm, CCTV, and card access systems.
- Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure efficient facility operation, including upselling opportunities.
- Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience installing and inspecting/repairing security or comparable product lines.
- Experience with card access, CCTV, and IP cameras.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Electrical/electronic background.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fire alarm experience.
- Some college education.
- NICET II or greater certification.

Pay
$40.09 hourly rate, determined by the CBA/rate sheet.
