Job Summary
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. Manages the daily security operations of the assigned facilities security program. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Bachelors degree in law enforcement, security management, criminal justice, or a discipline requiring high levels of communication and analytical skill; or equivalent combination of education and/or related experience.
- Prior to Employment: 5 years in law enforcement/security or 10 years in law enforcement/security field in lieu of college degree.
- Preferred Education: Masters degree in law enforcement, security management, criminal justice, or a discipline requiring high levels of communication and analytical skill; or equivalent combination of education and/or related experience.
- Required Certifications/Licenses: As required by the state; Valid state driver’s license. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) within 60 days of employment or transfer date into the department. Renewal is required every 2 years.
- Prior to Employment: AHA BLS
