Job Summary
BCM Controls is seeking a Security Service Coordinator to support our security service team in Woburn, MA. This role is responsible for coordinating daily service operations, scheduling and dispatching technicians, communicating with customers, and supporting service agreement administration for security systems.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch Security Service Technicians based on skill set, location, priority, and customer requirements
- Monitor technician schedules and adjust assignments as needed throughout the day
- Cookordinate return visits, follow-up appointments, emergency service requests, and customer updates
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers, technicians, vendors, and internal departments
- Respond to customer calls, emails, and service inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Provide updates on repairs, material orders, project status, and scheduled return visits
- Communicate field findings and service outcomes through daily field report distribution
- Prepare and process quotes for access control cards, security materials, replacement parts, and related service items
- Manage software license purchases related to support agreements and maintenance contracts
- Track card orders, materials, delivery status, and related service documentation
- Maintain accurate records in service management systems and support general administrative needs
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in service coordination, dispatching, customer service, or administrative support
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience
- Security systems, access control, CCTV, or low-voltage industry experience
- Experience dispatching field technicians or coordinating service schedules
- Experience with ConnectWise, ERP systems, dispatching software, or service platforms
- Experience processing material orders, service quotes, or customer service tickets
