Security-Safety Officer I, Full Time, Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Protecting Self Regional Healthcare property, personnel, patients and visitors
• Actively observing for fire and safety hazards
• Promoting optimal public relations with patients and visitors
• Conduct and document all incidents and unusual occurrences
• Coincides with law enforcement agencies doing business at SRH

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age
• Able to pass ALL SLED requirements and all Self Regional Healthcare requirements
• Evidence of high school diploma or GED
• Two years experience in security or related field; healthcare environment preferred
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
• Maintains a current unrestricted SC driver's license
• Mets criteria established by SRH fleet insurance carrier to be a qualified vehicle operator
• Skilled in computer use
• Two years experience in fire arms and able to pass annual firearm range qualification
