Security Response Officer - Rover

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Response Rover Security Officer in Long Beach, CA. As a Security Officer – Response, your role will vary depending on the day and special event, requiring adaptability to customer service, patrols, or surveillance while maintaining security with agility and precision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify identities
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32‑hour BSIS security trainings (trainings can be obtained during hiring)
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem‑solving skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $23.50/hour (DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees)

Schedule

Up to 40 hours per week; must be flexible and available to work any day of the week and any shift (day, swing, or overnight) as scheduling needs vary.
