Security Rep Senior - Level 3

Basic Qualifications

• Proven knowledge and understanding of industrial security regulations and procedures, including experience administering provisions of the 32 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 117 NISPOM
• Working knowledge of Security and Emergency Services Information Database System (SESIDS)
• Self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills are required

Job Description

The Security Representative Senior (E4523) position is located within the Security & Emergency Services (SES) organization at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company (LM Aero) in Palmdale, CA. The incumbent will serve as a Security Representative Sr. supporting the Department of War (DoW) Collateral Program. A comprehensive understanding of DoW security methodologies, policies, and procedures—particularly 32 CFR Part 117—is required.

Core Duties

• Collateral document control
• Classification management
• Delivering program briefings
• Providing program management support
• Oversight of classified shipments and courier procedures
• Aiding with compliance inspection activities

Additional Responsibilities

• Conducting security briefings
• Investigating security violations
• Preparing written incident reports detailing outcomes and recommended preventive actions

Desired Skills

• Experience with NISS, DISS, and Special Access Programs (SAP) security compliance
• Basic understanding of shipping and receiving classified hardware
• Excellent written, verbal, and customer interface skills
• Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Ability to work independently when required and be a team player
• Lead and implement change in a collaborative and inclusive manner
• Have strong interpersonal skills and a positive can-do attitude
