About the role

Provides administrative and coordination support for security projects while developing project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supports project planning, including scheduling meetings, maintaining project documentation, and tracking deliverables.
  • Aids in project documentation, including scope details, change orders, and progress updates.
  • Tracks project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, escalating risks or delays to project leadership as needed.
  • Assists with procurement processes by helping coordinate material orders, deliveries, and vendor communications.
  • Supports commissioning and closeout activities by ensuring documentation is complete and organized.
  • Ensures compliance with safety standards and company policies across project activities.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of administrative, coordination, or office support experience (project-based environments a plus).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of customer service and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a team.
  • Willingness to learn project management concepts and tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to successfully pass and maintain U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) security clearance requirements as a condition of working on applicable projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting projects, construction, or technical teams.
  • Exposure to project management tools or methodologies (e.g., scheduling tools, task tracking systems).
  • Basic understanding of budgeting, invoicing, or financial tracking.
  • Interest in pursuing project management training or certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP pathway).
  • Familiarity with security systems, construction, or technical environments (not required).

Pay

Hiring range: $28-$38 per hour (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
