About the role
Provides administrative and coordination support for security projects while developing project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Supports project planning, including scheduling meetings, maintaining project documentation, and tracking deliverables.
- Aids in project documentation, including scope details, change orders, and progress updates.
- Tracks project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, escalating risks or delays to project leadership as needed.
- Assists with procurement processes by helping coordinate material orders, deliveries, and vendor communications.
- Supports commissioning and closeout activities by ensuring documentation is complete and organized.
- Ensures compliance with safety standards and company policies across project activities.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of administrative, coordination, or office support experience (project-based environments a plus).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of customer service and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team.
- Willingness to learn project management concepts and tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to successfully pass and maintain U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) security clearance requirements as a condition of working on applicable projects.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting projects, construction, or technical teams.
- Exposure to project management tools or methodologies (e.g., scheduling tools, task tracking systems).
- Basic understanding of budgeting, invoicing, or financial tracking.
- Interest in pursuing project management training or certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP pathway).
- Familiarity with security systems, construction, or technical environments (not required).

Pay
Hiring range: $28-$38 per hour (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
