Security Project Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Security Project Manager to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will oversee security project coordination across design, construction, and commissioning phases, ensuring that security standards are built into each stage of delivery. The Security Project Manager will partner closely with design teams, construction stakeholders, and legal and compliance partners to maintain quality, support regulatory adherence, and protect operational readiness. This position will be instrumental in reviewing plans, guiding security system integration, and helping ensure projects are executed with precision in a high-security environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually Responsibilities Review security system designs for quality control and compliance Ensure architectural plans meet security standards and traffic flows Work closely with design teams to integrate recommendations Update and maintain the security Basis of Design as required Enforce compliance with relevant security regulations and policies Collaborate with legal teams to adhere to industry standards like NIST and ISO 27001 Oversee security installations during construction, auditing processes, and commissioning efforts Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred 5+ years of experience in security systems design, physical security, or construction security management Solid understanding of construction processes and security technology principles Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk, and Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills Familiarity with electronic security systems including video surveillance and access controls Detail-oriented with a proactive security mindset Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software is a plus CPP or PSP certification is desirable Benefits Professional development opportunities Collaborative work environment with cross-functional teams Exposure to high-security projects and advanced security technologies Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
