Security Professional- Unarmed 12-hr

About the role

Flex guards are needed in Morgan City. The position pays $12.50 per hour and operates on 12-hour shifts. The schedule includes 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am, full-time.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle
• Preserve order and enforce rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site
• Greeting guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escorting visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information
• Follow-site specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via oral and written communication; interacting with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary

Qualifications

• Valid Drivers license with no active flags or suspensions
• Requires gulf cart patrol
• Must have computer skills for dispatching for boat operations
• Ability to complete foot patrolls checking entryways and exits
• Able to assist with end-of-day building maintenance

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle
• Certification in: First Aid, CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• United States Citizen in order to obtain the required government clearance of America and possess one of the following:
• S. Passport
• Certified copy of U.S. birth certificate
• Certified copy of Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) (Form FS-240)
• Certificate of U.S. Citizenship (Form N-560 or N-561)
• Certificate of U.S. Naturalization (Form N-550 or N-570)
• Minimum of two (2) years of previous security experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
• Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian)
• Verifiable work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighting field
• Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports
