Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Preserve order and enforce rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site
• Greeting guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escorting visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information
• Follow-site specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via oral and written communication; interacting with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Licenses: Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle
• Certifications: First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Clearance: Must be a United States Citizen and possess one of the following: S. Passport, Certified copy of U.S. birth certificate, Certified copy of Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA), Certificate of U.S. Citizenship, Certificate of U.S. Naturalization
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of previous security experience, minimum of two (2) years of service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security, or any support role in a Combat Zone, Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian)
• Age: Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)
• Communication: Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports
