As a Security Officer - Medical Center - Flex in Smyrna, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors through strong communication and customer service. Pay

$19.00 / Hour

Schedule

Flex: Assigned one shift a week minimum with the ability to pick up more shifts on a weekly basis based around your schedule.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with onsite personnel and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and staff movement to help to deter disruptions, support site rules, and document security-related concerns according to Allied Universal and location guidelines.

Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Hospital vaccinations are required.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
