Security Patrol Officer

Patrols assigned areas to ensure a safe and secure environment for residents and staff. Responds to emergency situations and requests for security assistance. Provides support for emergency situations involving medical staff. Demonstrates commitment to the philosophy and goals of the organization, recognizing residents’ dignity and choices in daily life. Works with the team to meet all needs of residents and the assisted living facility by actively participating in activities and the social environment.

Responsibilities

• Responds to alarms and security emergencies.
• Responds to requests for security assistance, including vehicle assistance, door unlocks, escorts, and alarms.
• Maintains patrols of the area as prescribed in the post orders.
• Completes special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Must exhibit and foster outstanding customer service skills at all times.
• Must operate as a team player.
• Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Obtain BLS, EMT, or First Responder certification.
• Professional, proactive, conscientious, and results-oriented individual with an optimistic and positive demeanor.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, good intuition, and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Superb organizational and solid analytical skills.
• Creative, proactive, yet disciplined with the ability to streamline work volume and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to innovate, think strategically, and handle difficult situations.
• Motivated to learn and flexible to change.
• Computer literacy required; experience with databases, Windows, Word, Excel.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, pull, and push a minimum of fifty pounds.
• Must be able to perform both internal and external (outdoors) patrols in all weather conditions.
• Able to stand and/or sit for prolonged periods of time.

$36,854.00 - $51,596.00
