Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through established communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor permissions as directed, and support access control measures in accordance with site policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support day-to-day security-related operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing clear directions, and assisting with special assignments or post orders as needed.
Requirements
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
