Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.

Pay Rate: $24.18 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time - Saturday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sunday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
