Responsibilities

  • Manage and provide leadership for Supervisors and Security Officers to ensure they maintain client relationships, treat employees with care, and follow all company policies.
  • Oversee relationships between client contacts and assigned assistant operations managers.
  • Ensure each Supervisor completes the required number of site visits.
  • Ensure Supervisors outfit all employees in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Ensure Supervisors maintain positive relationships with employees.
  • Complete objective, performance‑based, written appraisals of subordinates based on published Post Order of Position Descriptions within 14 days of their anniversary date; ensure Supervisors do the same for their subordinates.
  • Implement progressive disciplinary actions for subordinate violations of Company or Client Policy as necessary, in strict accordance with established company policy after consultation with Human Resources; no employee will be suspended or discharged without HR consultation.
  • Personally foster relationships with all client contacts and maintain consistent contact.
  • Work an average of 16 billable hours per week.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date training programs for officers and supervisors; conduct bi‑annual to quarterly supervisor trainings/meetings.
  • Organize and ensure appropriate employees are trained in CPR/First Aid/MFR, etc.
  • Obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid/AED certification (prior certification preferred).
  • Become a ProTrainings CPR/First Aid/AED Skill Evaluator and conduct recurring skill evaluations for new and re‑certifying employees.
  • Oversee all temporary assignments in the designated region, ensuring MOUs and post guidelines are written and communicated prior to deployment.
  • Ensure Uniform Security accounts keep non‑billable overtime below the company‑established threshold.
  • Ensure accurate and complete submission of all billing and payroll data division‑wide within established timelines.
  • Conduct site inspections for each assigned account; document and report each visit in the prescribed format promptly.
  • Maintain an inventory of all DK‑owned equipment and employee uniforms used by subordinates by assigned account.

Requirements

  • Experience in leadership or supervisory positions.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Michigan Concealed Pistol License (CPL).

Skills

  • Great communication, organization, and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with light travel throughout the assigned region.
  • Comfort working out in the field.
  • Capable of obtaining and maintaining CPR/First Aid/AED certification and becoming a Skill Evaluator.

$47,000 per year (includes benefits)

Schedule

1st Shift Monday‑Friday;
