About the Role
Citadel Security USA is seeking a results-driven District Manager to oversee security operations throughout an assigned district while ensuring exceptional client service, operational consistency, and financial performance. This leadership role balances operational oversight with employee development, client engagement, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations across multiple client locations within the assigned district.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and accountability for supervisors, managers, and field personnel.
- Ensure staffing levels, scheduling, and operational resources support client expectations.
- Promote a culture centered on professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives.
- Conduct regular site visits, operational reviews, and performance meetings.
- Address client concerns promptly while implementing effective long-term solutions.
- Ensure contractual obligations, post orders, and service expectations are consistently achieved.
- Monitor operational performance across all assigned accounts.
- Evaluate staffing efficiency, service quality, and response effectiveness.
- Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with company standards.
- Implement operational improvements that strengthen consistency and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in managing district budgets and operational expenses.
- Monitor labor utilization, overtime, equipment costs, and other financial indicators.
- Review operational data and key performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support profitable district performance while maintaining service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable laws.
- Oversee safety initiatives and incident reporting procedures.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections and corrective action follow-up.
- Reduce operational risk through proactive planning and continuous monitoring.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop supervisors and security professionals.
- Support onboarding, coaching, and ongoing performance management.
- Deliver constructive feedback and encourage professional growth.
- Foster employee engagement and retention through effective leadership and communication.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or higher in Business, Criminal Justice, Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in security operations, business management, or operations leadership.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as operational demands require.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple client accounts or geographic territories.
- Previous responsibility for budgeting, labor management, and operational performance.
- Experience leading supervisors and large employee teams.
- Knowledge of security operations, contract administration, and service level agreements.
- Industry certifications or professional management credentials are a plus.

- Occasional evenings, weekend, and emergency response responsibilities.
- Travel throughout the assigned district to support business operations.
Pay
$65,000 per year
Schedule
Monday through Friday (Evenings and weekends as operational needs require)
