Responsibilities
- Select and place new security professionals, including first-line supervisors.
- Evaluate low-performing employees for replacement, upgrade, or transfer.
- Make initial job offers and job transfers using company forms and procedures.
- Create, modify, and manage post schedules in WinTeam to ensure adequate coverage.
- Manage branch overtime through proper scheduling and staffing.
- Maintain a qualified, sufficient pool of flex personnel for backfill of vacant positions.
- Review “No Hours Report” with branch HR staff and disposition employees as needed.
- Receive weekly timesheets and update WinTeam schedules as necessary.
- Run weekly payroll according to company procedures.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Process requests for final paychecks, anniversary bonuses, and other pay-related issues.
- Act as a Company representative in matters such as unemployment hearings, workers' compensation hearings/depositions, union meetings, state agency activities, depositions, and related liability matters.
- Conduct disciplinary and counseling sessions with Security Professionals.
- Initiate termination procedures for voluntary and involuntary separations.
- Maintain high employee morale and low turnover through effective communications and problem resolution.
- Enforce post-specific policies and procedures through proper communication and training.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current driver’s license if driving a company vehicle.
- Three (3) years of leadership experience in a high-volume workforce environment, preferably in the protective service industry.
- Licensing requirements vary by state and/or local laws.
- Leadership skills fostering teamwork, innovation, agility, client relations, and achieving desired results.
- Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office and BI tools.
- Experience managing a dispersed workforce in a multi-location operation.
- Previous payroll, billing, and scheduling experience.
- Aptitude with security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, and badge administration.
- Certified Public Safety Academy graduate.
