Security Operations & Engineering Fall Intern

Job Summary

The Security Operations & Engineering Intern will contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen MathWorks' security posture. This role focuses on a defined project aimed at improving our security capabilities, tooling, and process across the organization.

Responsibilities

- Help lead and contribute to a security operations project with clear requirements and outcomes. - Collaborate with Security Operations and Engineering team members on tooling and automation improvements. - Research and evaluate security technologies, techniques, and ways to improve processes. - Document findings and present future project recommendations to stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without restriction. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's level degree.

Additional Qualifications

- Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting language. - Experience with querying large data sets for security relevant information. - Basic networking, sysinternals knowledge.
