Key Responsibilities
- Serve as technical owner for: IP camera systems (VMS and cloud platforms), access control systems (badging, controllers, integrations), and intrusion and alarm systems.
- Ensure systems are available, secure, and properly maintained (patching, upgrades, troubleshooting).
- Lead incident response, escalation, and root cause analysis for system issues.
- Partner with IT and Cybersecurity on: network connectivity and device security, system hardening and vulnerability management.
- Manage vendor relationships, service tickets, and system performance.
- Support projects, system deployments, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide guidance and training to SOC staff and contract personnel.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years experience in a SOC, IT systems, or security technology role.
- Hands-on experience with IP cameras, access control systems, and alarm platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting across network-connected systems and devices.
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and cybersecurity practices.
- Experience with vendor management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
