Security Operations Center Officer

Responsibilities

• Maintains surveillance of multiple sites via access control and camera systems.
• Responds to appropriate authorities when breaches are notified and verified.
• Thoroughly documents all findings and investigations of incidents.
• Performs interior/exterior tours of the main facility.
• Responds to emergency situations and notifies appropriate response entities.
• Generates clear and concise written reports of shift activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• US Citizen or Alien lawfully authorized to work in the United States.
• Passes Identification Verification, State & Federal background checks.
• Successfully completes GSSC Basic Training.
• Completes required NERC – CIP Training as required by customer.
• Proficient with camera systems, access control systems, alarm systems, and basic Microsoft applications.
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking.
• Professional and positive attitude while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
• One or more years working in a dispatch / monitoring center type environment.
• One or more years of experience in the security, law enforcement, or military industries.
• Ability to meet and maintain applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security professionals.

• Excellent communication (verbal and written).

• Computer proficiency with camera systems, access control systems, alarm systems, and basic Microsoft applications.
