Job Summary As the Security Operations Analyst, you will support and enhance CAI's enterprise security operations program by ensuring operational security measures are defined, implemented, and monitored across the organization. Job Description We are looking for a Security Operations Analyst to support and enhance CAI's enterprise security operations program by ensuring operational security measures are defined, implemented, and monitored across the organization. This position will be full-time and remote. What You'll Do Administer and maintain assigned security platforms and tools, serving as the primary owner for one or more solutions and providing backup support for othersMonitor and manage security-related tickets within the Service Desk queue and assist support teams with security incidents and requestsReview, investigate, and respond to phishing reports, providing guidance and education to end usersAssess, identify, and mitigate security risks across the enterprise and recommend compensating controls when neededAudit technical and business processes for compliance with security policies and recommend improvements based on findingsAnalyze security data, reports, and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for process improvementSupport security incident response activities independently or under the guidance of senior security leadershipPerform security control assessments and continuous monitoring activities using NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) guidanceProduce security reports, dashboards, incident documentation, and post-incident reviewsSupport security-related contract reviews, compliance questionnaires, and risk assessments through data collection and analysisEvaluate security vendors and tools, gathering requirements and recommending solutions that align with business needsCreate, update, and maintain security policies, standards, procedures, and operational documentationProvide end-user training, support, and guidance on information security best practicesLead or support enterprise-wide security awareness and education initiativesStay current on emerging threats, attack vectors, security technologies, and industry best practices Required What You'll Need 1-4+ years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related fieldBachelor's degree or an additional two years of related experience in lieu of a degree Preferred Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISA, GSEC, or similarExperience with security operations tools and enterprise security monitoring platformsExperience supporting incident response and security awareness initiativesStrong data analysis and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and related security conceptsAbility to assess security risks and recommend appropriate remediation strategiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional movement throughout the office or facilityAbility to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorAbility to attend meetings, training sessions, and security-related activities as required Reasonable accommodation statement If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 – 8111. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
