As a Security Operations Analyst, your hands-on SOC experience will directly shape how AI detects, investigates, and responds to threats — making a meaningful impact on the future of cybersecurity.
What You'll Do
- Analyze realistic incident and alert scenarios to assess what's happening and why it matters
- Classify severity levels, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions
- Review detection logic and investigation workflows for accuracy and real-world relevance
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs to ensure they reflect how analysts actually work in practice
- Distinguish true security signals from noise and false positives across a range of simulated environments
- Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI systems think and respond like seasoned analysts
Who You Are
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations
- Familiar with SIEM platforms, alert triage processes, and security investigation workflows
- Skilled at separating genuine threats from false positives under realistic conditions
- Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments
- No prior AI experience required — your security expertise is what matters
Nice to Have
- Experience with threat hunting, malware analysis, or digital forensics
- Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or SANS
- Background working across multiple SIEM or EDR platforms
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIA
