Security Officers Needed

About the role

Securitas Security Services is hiring qualified individuals for Security Officer positions in Omaha, NE. The primary responsibilities include conflict resolution, de-escalation, identifying and reporting safety issues, ensuring post orders are followed, and completing assigned rounds. Ideal candidates should have impeccable customer service and team leadership skills, above-average computer skills, and experience in Security, Law Enforcement, or the Military.

Responsibilities

• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations
• Interact frequently with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity
• Ensure post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed
• Carry out specific tasks and duties as required for assigned sites

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or completion of the GED program within 6 months
• Above average computer and technology skills
• Experience in Security, Law Enforcement, or the Military preferred
• Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment

Qualifications

• Basic requirements include high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Experience in Security, Law Enforcement, or Military preferred
