Security Officers Needed - 8:00 pm to 6:00 am

About the role

We are seeking dependable and professional Security Officers for overnight coverage from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. This role focuses on maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-monitored environment, ensuring policy compliance, and responding promptly to safety concerns or unusual activity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entry points and verify authorized entry to the property.
• Address safety concerns, disturbances, or unusual behavior promptly.
• Complete accurate incident reports for any notable events, policy violations, or emergencies.
• Provide courteous assistance and support a welcoming community atmosphere.
• Ensure compliance with community standards and policy enforcement.
• Assist with fire alarms, medical situations, or police activity by following established protocols.
• Maintain a strong security presence to deter misconduct and promote safety.
• Report significant issues to site leadership promptly and maintain clear communication throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and excellent observation skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in all situations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or willingness to apply for one.
• 20-hour training certificate or completion within thirty (30) days of employment.
• CPR and AED certification (training provided if not currently held).
• Pass a pre-employment screening process, including drug screening.
• Maintain an impeccable image and adhere to professional grooming standards.
• Mature demeanor, strong customer service skills, and ability to interact well with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Strong verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a working telephone at all times.

Schedule

• Night shift: 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• 10-hour shifts
• Weekend availability required
• Holidays required

Pay

$19.25 per hour
