Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information.
- Must be able to walk 5-10 miles per shift doing rounds.
- Have good working knowledge of computers, sending emails, logging information.
- Able to stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time.
- Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages.
- Effectively utilize access control systems and CCTV systems as needed.
- Ensure guests and vendors are properly greeted when entering the building.
- Observe departing personnel to guard against theft.
- Monitor security cameras that are within the facility.
- Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bi-lingual considered a plus.
- Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required.
Pay and Benefits
- Starting at $16.80 - $18.00 per hour depending on position.
