As a Security Officer Patrol Customer Care in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and document observations, incidents, and unusual activity in accordance with post orders and reporting procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations, traffic direction, and crowd management, while maintaining professional interactions with employees and visitors.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

DayTime: Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
