Security Officer X Ray Screening

About the Role

As a Full Time Security Officer specializing in X-Ray Screening in Van Buren Township, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, monitoring access points, and supporting security-related operations. Preferred experience with X-ray screening and badge access systems will help you contribute to a secure and well-managed environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed, and report suspicious activity, damaged property, and security-related concerns.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site-specific policies.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• X-Ray screening experience.
• Access control and badge experience.

Pay

$17.43 / hour

• Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
