About the role

As a Security Officer X Ray Screening in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. This is a part-time position where you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-area concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailers, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor ingress and egress of employees, visitors, drivers, and vehicles in accordance with site policies, documenting security-related observations and incidents.
• Support the orderly flow of package distribution operations by reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership and/or appropriate responders.

Requirements

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.00 / Hour

• Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
