Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen individuals, packages, and other items entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures, reporting prohibited or suspicious items and activities.
  • Maintain accurate visitor and screening-related records.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
