Security Officer with Patrol Experience

About the role

As a Security Officer with Patrol Experience in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, production, and/or campus-style areas, as well as around building perimeters and parking locations.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic to help support authorized entry and help to deter unauthorized access within a technology-focused location.
• Report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel while following Allied Universal and location guidelines.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements as per state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
