Security Officer Experienced Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe foot and vehicle traffic to help to support site rules, visitor management practices, and authorized entry procedures.
• Communicate with management, tenants, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters.

Requirements

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 or more years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
