Security Officer with Active Clearance Patrols

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials in accordance with post instructions, and document observations, incidents, and/or visitor activity.
• Support emergency response activities, alarm response, and evacuation-related procedures consistent with the needs of an aerospace and defense location.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
