Security Officer - West Side

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location in Verona, WI. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and report security-related concerns while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations calmly, following established site protocols and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.65 per hour.

Schedule

• Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Sunday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
