About the role

Award-winning Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Welcome Desk Security Clearance in Salt Lake City, UT. This role serves and safeguards clients across various industries including Aero/Defense.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Maintain visitor logs and communicate entry procedures in accordance with location requirements.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations calmly and professionally, reporting details through required documentation and communication channels.
• Support security-related operations by answering questions, directing foot traffic, and coordinating with site contacts regarding visitor access and delivery activity.
• Monitor front lobby and reception areas for security-related concerns, help deter unauthorized access, and notify appropriate personnel of issues requiring follow-up.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possession of an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Age 18 for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Pass a background investigation and drug screen.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.

DayTime: Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
