Security Officer Visitor Welcome Desk

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at an automotive rental location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for visitors and employees. You will monitor access, communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service while helping to maintain an orderly environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, renters, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access to the rental location, greet and direct visitors, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Observe front desk and lobby activity, report suspicious behavior, unattended property, and facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment by providing information and assistance while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
