Security Officer Weekends (7p - 7:30 a. Sat.- Sun.) Part time

Position Summary

Assists in establishing and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all employees, physicians, patients, visitors, and property at St. Mary’s Health Care System.

Position Requirements

• Educational Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licenses/Certifications Required:
• Current State of Georgia driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR).
• International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security.
• Defensive Tactics.
• Tactical Baton.
• Taser.
• Experience: Minimum of three years of security, police, or military experience preferred. Healthcare security experience is a plus.

• Professional appearance, language, and attitude required.
• Mentally alert, socially responsive, intellectually honest, and morally sound.
• Diplomatic and tactful demeanor essential in delicate situations.
