Security Officer Weekends (7p - 7:30 a. Sat.- Sun.) Part time

Position Summary:

Assists in establishing and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all employees, physicians, patients, visitors, and property at St. Mary’s Health Care System.

Position Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current State of Georgia driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (no more than six Trinity Health unsafe driving points within a 24-month period).
  • Certification required within one year of employment:
  • American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR)
  • International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security
  • Defensive Tactics
  • ASP Tactical Baton
  • Taser
  • Annual recertification required for certifications listed above.
• Experience: Minimum of three years of security, police, or military experience preferred. Healthcare security experience is a plus.
• Special Qualifications: Professional appearance, language, and attitude required. Must be mentally alert, socially responsive, intellectually honest, and morally sound. Diplomatic and tactful demeanor essential in delicate situations.
