Security Officer Weekend Residential Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and resident activity, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
• Support residential community operations by assisting with move-in and move-out activity, checking amenity areas, and helping to address routine security-related concerns at the location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
