Security Officer Weekend Overnight Parking Patrol

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned parking areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors, and communicate clearly with customers and team members. You will support a welcoming environment through routine rounds, incident reporting, and dependable service.

Overnight Parking Lot/Garage Patrol on Eleventh Avenue, Pittsburgh

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, patrons, and employees at public parking facilities by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of parking garages, lots, pedestrian areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, parking areas, and available surveillance systems; report suspicious activity, parking-related concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, vehicle-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete required incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Sunday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
