Security Officer - Weekend Graveyard Shift

About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in various industries such as Commercial Real Estate, you will also support daily operations with an agile, reliable approach, working as part of a team and acting with integrity while creating a welcoming presence for tenants and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report security-related matters according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or contractor access while maintaining detailed logs and communicating notable observations to property management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support daily operations by addressing questions, assisting with directions, and documenting maintenance, life preservation, and/or security-related concerns observed during patrols.

Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
